Work Environment\n

This position is 100% remote, leveraging telehealth technology to reach our patients effectively. Your work schedule will typically fall between Monday and Friday, from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with some flexibility required to accommodate varying patient needs. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive, culturally sensitive mental health assessments to identify clients' unique histories and needs.

• Design and implement individual treatment plans utilizing evidence-based therapy methods like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and other modalities suited to the patient's cultural context.

• Facilitate individual, family, and group therapy sessions aimed at promoting resilience, healing, and coping strategies for mental health challenges.

• Collaborate with other mental health professionals, including psychiatrists and social workers, to ensure cohesive and comprehensive care for our clients.

• Provide timely and effective crisis interventions for patients experiencing acute mental health emergencies, ensuring their safety and well-being.

• Educate clients and families about mental health conditions, available treatment options, and community resources, fostering greater self-advocacy.

• Maintain meticulous documentation of sessions and treatment plans in compliance with legal and ethical standards using electronic health record (EHR) systems.

• Actively participate in peer case reviews, team meetings, and ongoing cultural competency training to stay informed and connected with the team.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A valid and active license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Georgia.

• Demonstrated knowledge of mental health disorders, therapeutic interventions, and cultural sensitivity in treatment approaches.

• Previous experience providing therapy to individuals and groups, especially using culturally informed practices.

• Strong crisis intervention capabilities, with a proven ability to remain calm and effective under pressure.
