Work Environment

This position is located in our outpatient office in Sayreville, New Jersey, where we serve a diverse patient population, including those with orthopedic and rehabilitation needs. You will work onsite amidst a collaborative and adaptive team of healthcare professionals who are passionate about delivering patient-centered care. The typical work week will consist of 40 hours, including potential variable weekend hours, allowing for flexible scheduling to meet both patient and staff needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients' functional limitations and disabilities, interpreting findings to formulate individualized treatment plans.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure an integrated approach to each patient's continuity of care and recovery process.
• Educate patients and their families about treatment options, expected outcomes, and the importance of adherence to the proposed plans.
• Document treatment sessions and charges accurately for both yourself and assigned support staff, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
• Maintain communication with interdisciplinary teams, physicians, and referral sources to optimize patient outcomes throughout their treatment journey.
• Participate in community outreach initiatives and continuous quality improvement programs, contributing to the growth of our practice and the well-being of our community.
• Engage in ongoing professional development through in-service training and continuing education, ensuring that your clinical skills remain at the forefront of the physical therapy field.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic pain conditions. Our client-focused approach emphasizes personalized care, where you will collaborate closely with patients, their families, and the healthcare team to promote successful rehabilitation outcomes. Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy is required.
• A valid state license in Physical Therapy is mandatory.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
• Competency in written and verbal communication, alongside proficiency in computer technology and documentation.

Preferred Experience
