Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health evaluations during initial consultations and document every step of the treatment journey for each client.

• Develop individualized and group treatment plans based on comprehensive assessments of clients' mental, behavioral, and emotional health.
\n
• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, employing therapeutic techniques tailored to the unique needs of clients.
\n
• Regularly monitor and assess client progress throughout the course of treatment to identify improvements and adjust interventions as necessary.
\n
• Collaborate closely with fellow healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists, nurses, and social workers, to coordinate comprehensive care for clients.
\n
• Assist clients with referrals and follow-ups, ensuring effective communication with other health professionals involved in their care.
\n
• Identify and address behaviors that may hinder recovery, providing support and strategies to overcome these challenges.
\n
• Engage with family members and primary caregivers to help them understand and manage mental health issues affecting their loved ones.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our clients include individuals, couples, families, and groups from diverse backgrounds facing various mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance abuse. In this role, you will play an essential part in fostering resilience and personal growth, helping clients navigate their unique circumstances and achieve their healing goals.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Must hold a current and valid license as an LMFT, LMHC, or LICSW in the state of Washington.
\n
• Successful completion of the National Counselor Examination (NCE) and/or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE).
\n
• Demonstrated experience working as a mental health counselor, with a solid understanding of various therapeutic modalities.
\n
• Proficiency in electronic health record systems such as AVATAR, ensuring efficient documentation and client management.
\n

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience with co-occurring disorders, chronic health conditions, and addiction recovery, offering holistic support to clients.

• Familiarity with best practices and ethical guidelines from the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA).
\n
• In-depth knowledge of psychiatric medications and their effects, ability to communicate this information effectively to clients.
\n
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, complemented by exceptional interpersonal abilities and an empathetic demeanor.

Compensation and Benefits\n
