Working within our outpatient office framework, you will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of professionals, including psychiatrists, psychologists, and social workers. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments to gather comprehensive patient histories and identify suitable treatment strategies.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to the unique needs of each patient, focusing on trauma recovery and resilience enhancement.

• Employ evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to facilitate healing.

• Lead individual and group therapy sessions designed to assist patients in processing their trauma, equipping them with effective coping strategies.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention and ongoing support during trauma-related emergencies, ensuring the safety and well-being of patients.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

At Willow Garden Counseling Center, you will primarily work with adults and adolescents affected by various trauma-related conditions, including PTSD, complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Valid and active licensure as one of the following in the state of Kansas: LCMFT, LMFT, LCPC, or LCSW-C.

• Demonstrated knowledge of trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment modalities.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with an emphasis on compassion and a non-judgmental approach.

• Ability to remain calm and effective in high-stress scenarios, which are common in trauma recovery environments.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary range for this position is competitive, between USD 90,000 and 110,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
