Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, patient-centered therapy by managing the comprehensive therapeutic process for an assigned caseload, working closely with both the patient and physician to coordinate care.
• Conduct thorough patient assessments to create and implement individualized care plans targeting specific rehabilitation goals that enhance patient engagement and satisfaction.
• Provide direct therapeutic interventions and support patients throughout their rehabilitation journey, ensuring adherence to established treatment protocols.
• Evaluate and reassess patient conditions regularly, modifying treatment plans based on evolving patient needs and responses to therapy.
• Instruct patients and their families on home exercises and the use of therapeutic devices, enhancing continuity of care outside clinical settings.
• Organize and prioritize your caseload effectively, balancing daily staffing needs and coordinating assignments for optimal patient outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work with a diverse patient population facing a wide range of physical challenges. Your expertise will be critical in treating musculoskeletal conditions, neurological disorders, and other rehabilitation cases. We emphasize a holistic approach, which involves not just addressing physical ailments but also considering the emotional and psychological aspects of recovery.

Qualifications

• Active and valid Physical Therapy License in the state of Florida.
• Bachelor's or Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited program.
• Certification in Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) required within 30 days of employment.
• Capacity to maintain an empathetic approach with patients while demonstrating clinical expertise.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in outpatient therapy settings, although new graduates with relevant internships will also be considered.
• Proficiency in using electronic health records (EHR) systems to document patient progress efficiently.
• Experience in specialized areas of rehabilitation, such as orthopedics or pediatrics, will be an asset.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
