Work Environment\n

This position is fully remote, enabling you to conduct therapy sessions in a comfortable setting while maintaining the professional standards expected in mental health practice. While primarily remote, you will have access to an outpatient office for occasional in-person client meetings or collaborative team sessions as needed.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough, culturally sensitive mental health assessments to understand each patient’s unique narrative and develop individualized treatment plans.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions tailored to each patient, considering their distinct cultural backgrounds and personal experiences.

• Facilitate individual, family, and group therapy sessions, employing diverse therapeutic modalities to promote resilience and enhance overall mental health.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other healthcare professionals to deliver holistic, coordinated care, ensuring the best outcomes for our patients.

• Perform crisis intervention and provide immediate support during mental health emergencies, employing strong crisis management techniques.

• Educate patients and their families about mental health conditions, available treatment options, and community resources, empowering them to make informed decisions.

• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation in adherence to legal, ethical, and professional standards.

• Actively engage in case conferences, team meetings, and ongoing cultural competency training sessions to enhance service delivery.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• A current and valid license as an LMFT, LMHC, or LICSW in the state of Washington.
\n
• An in-depth understanding of mental health disorders and evidence-based treatment modalities, with strong cultural competence.
\n
• Proven experience providing individual and group therapy using inclusive approaches that respect and integrate patients’ cultural contexts.
\n
• Exceptional crisis intervention abilities, remaining calm and composed in high-pressure situations.
\n
• Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, with a capability to build trusting relationships with a diverse clientele.
\n
• Proficient in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and other computer applications relevant to clinical practice.
\n
• A steadfast commitment to professional ethics, patient confidentiality, and maintaining appropriate professional boundaries.

• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team, ensuring a thorough and integrated approach to care.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience in multicultural counseling settings or with specific populations such as LGBTQ+ or immigrant communities is highly desirable.

• Additional certifications in trauma-informed care, behavioral health crisis intervention, or other relevant specialties are a plus.

Compensation and Benefits\n
