Thrive Plus Inc. is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) to join our team as a full-time remote therapist based in King Of Prussia, Pennsylvania. This position operates within an outpatient office setting, where you will conduct therapy sessions remotely, allowing for flexibility and a work-life balance. As part of our outpatient service, you will collaborate with other professionals and utilize digital tools to ensure seamless communication and coordination of care.

Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist at Thrive Plus Inc., your primary responsibilities will include:

• Conducting in-home individual and group therapy sessions, utilizing evidenced-based practices to address the unique needs of each child and family.
\n
• Implementing targeted interventions focused on developing anger management strategies, coping skills, and social skills, while addressing and mitigating high-risk behaviors such as self-injurious behavior or physical aggression.
\n
• Empowering youth and caregivers with decision-making skills necessary to manage behavioral challenges in home settings.
\n
• Collaborating closely with the Child Family Treatment Team, maintaining open lines of communication with other professionals to coordinate comprehensive support for families.
\n
• Maintaining accurate documentation, including intake assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes, to ensure compliance with organizational standards and regulatory expectations.
\n
• Participating in monthly team meetings, contributing insights and recommendations based on client progress and therapeutic strategies.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role focuses specifically on children aged 3 to 20 who have been identified with developmental disabilities and intellectual challenges. Our client population often requires tailored approaches to therapy that consider their individual circumstances and experiences. By engaging with families in their familiar environment, you will foster trust and create impactful therapeutic alliances that contribute to positive outcomes.

Qualifications\n

To be considered for this position, candidates must meet the following qualifications:

• A Master’s degree in Counseling, Family Therapy, or a related field.
\n
• An active and unrestricted LMFT license.
\n
• Availability for a minimum of 5-10 hours per week, primarily during after-school hours from 4-7 pm, with some weekend flexibility preferred.

• Experience in providing positive behavior support to youth facing various challenges.
\n
• Prior experience working with children aged 3-20, particularly those with intellectual/developmental disabilities, is highly advantageous.
\n
• A valid driver’s license and access to a registered vehicle are essential for conducting in-home visits.
\n
• Must successfully pass a criminal background check, including fingerprinting.
\n

Preferred Experience\n

While not required, candidates with the following experiences will be preferred:

• Proficiency in providing bilingual therapy services in Spanish or Portuguese.

• Experience using telehealth platforms or case management software to facilitate remote therapy sessions and documentation.

Compensation and Benefits\n
