Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate patients’ trauma history and tailor appropriate therapeutic interventions.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans focused on trauma recovery, emphasizing coping strategies and resilience-building techniques.

• Provide evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to facilitate healing.

• Deliver engaging individual and group therapy sessions that empower patients to process trauma, develop skills, and cultivate hope for the future.

• Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team of psychiatrists, therapists, and support staff to ensure comprehensive care for each patient.

As a mental health therapist in our organization, you will serve a diverse patient population primarily consisting of individuals affected by trauma. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, LMFT, or Psychologist in the state of New Jersey.
