Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct initial evaluations of trauma injury patients, using interviews and standardized assessment tools to accurately diagnose mental and emotional disorders.

• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs, ensuring they address coping strategies and therapeutic objectives.

• Facilitate regular therapeutic sessions (both video and phone) to monitor patient progress and adapt treatment approaches as necessary.

• Provide educational resources to patients and staff regarding stress and trauma coping mechanisms, empowering patients through knowledge.

• Actively collaborate with social services, healthcare providers, and community outreach programs to coordinate holistic care, addressing the diverse needs of patients.

• Maintain thorough documentation of patient interactions, progress, and treatment plans in compliance with healthcare regulations and organizational policies.

• Stay up to date with developments in the field of mental health by participating in continuing education opportunities, ensuring you uphold your National Certified Counselor certification.

This role specifically focuses on trauma injury patients--individuals who are navigating mental health challenges stemming from acute or chronic traumatic experiences. Therefore, your expertise in trauma-informed care will be critical in aiding these patients to work through their difficulties and develop effective coping mechanisms.

Qualifications\n

• Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution.

• A valid Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) credential, authorizing practice in the state of Massachusetts.

• A minimum of three years of experience working with trauma-focused clients, showcasing an understanding of their unique needs.

Compensation and Benefits\n
