Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients referred by physicians, using clinical assessment tools and standardized measures to develop personalized treatment plans.
• Implement effective therapy sessions focused on rehabilitation, functional improvements, and pain management tailored to each individual's specific needs.
• Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team, including occupational therapists, nurses, and physicians, to ensure comprehensive care and enhanced patient outcomes.
• Provide education and training to patients and their caregivers, fostering understanding of injury prevention and self-management strategies.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient progress in compliance with regulatory standards and organizational policies.
• Achieve and track performance metrics, including minimum utilization goals and other objectives aimed at enhancing service delivery and patient satisfaction.
• Demonstrate exceptional customer service skills to ensure a positive experience for all patients during their recovery process.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The ideal candidate will have a diverse patient focus, treating individuals across various specialties, including orthopedic, pediatric, neurologic, and sports medicine cases. You will have the opportunity to utilize targeted mobilization techniques and specific rehabilitation protocols that cater to each patient's distinct conditions, enhancing their recovery and overall physical wellness.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an APTA or CAPTE-approved physical therapy program.
• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is preferred.
• Current New Jersey state licensure in Physical Therapy.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification from the American Heart Association is required.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with proficiency in word processing and electronic health record documentation.
• Ability to build meaningful patient relationships that foster goal achievement and life improvement.
• A proactive approach in connecting positively with clients and their families to facilitate engagement and support.

Preferred Experience

Experience in outpatient orthopedics, sports therapy, and evidence-based practice models is highly valued. An understanding of various therapeutic modalities and the ability to adapt treatment techniques to fit patient needs can give applicants a competitive edge.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 100,000 to USD 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
