Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments that evaluate patients' trauma histories and identify individualized treatment needs.

• Develop and implement tailored treatment plans that prioritize trauma recovery and resilience-building, utilizing techniques suited to each patient's circumstances.

• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to facilitate healing and coping.

• Lead individual and group therapy sessions focused on processing trauma, establishing coping strategies, and fostering a sense of community among clients.

• Maintain open communication and collaborate with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless, integrated care for each patient.

• Act swiftly to provide crisis intervention and support during trauma-related emergencies, demonstrating calmness under pressure.

• Educate clients and their families about trauma responses, coping modalities, and available community resources to enhance understanding and support.

• Ensure accurate and confidential documentation that adheres to all legal and ethical requirements, supporting the highest standards of care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The primary focus of your work will be with individuals dealing with the effects of trauma, including but not limited to PTSD, complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. You will engage with a diverse clientele who may vary in age, cultural background, and socioeconomic status, each bringing unique challenges and perspectives to the therapeutic process.

Qualifications\n

• A master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPCC, or LCSW in the state of California.

• Minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience, demonstrating a robust understanding of trauma-related disorders and treatment methodologies.

• Proficient knowledge of trauma-informed treatment approaches and therapeutic interventions.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, characterized by empathy, patience, and non-judgmental engagement with clients.

• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and proficiency in standard computer applications.

Compensation and Benefits\n
