Work Environment\n

This is a full-time remote position that allows for flexibility within your work schedule. The core hours for this role are Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. However, in consideration of our patients' needs, some adaptability in scheduling may be necessary. Our telehealth format ensures that you will engage with clients across San Francisco and beyond, offering the opportunity to make a positive impact irrespective of geographical boundaries.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate patients' histories, enabling the identification of effective treatment approaches.

• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans that focus on trauma recovery, resilience-building, and overall mental wellness.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), tailored to individual patient needs.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, helping clients express and process their trauma experiences while cultivating effective coping strategies and promoting healing.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and effective treatment integration for our clients.

• Provide crisis intervention resources and support during trauma-related emergencies, ensuring patients feel guided and safe during distressing times.
\n
• Educate clients and their families on trauma responses, coping mechanisms, and available support resources, fostering a deeper understanding of the healing process.

• Maintain diligent and confidential documentation conforming to legal and ethical standards, ensuring client information is handled with the utmost care.

• Engage actively in case consultations, team meetings, and opportunities for professional development focused on trauma-informed care.

• Stay informed on the latest research and developments in trauma therapy, continuously enhancing your knowledge to provide the highest standard of care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work primarily with individuals affected by different types of trauma, providing mental health services that require sensitivity, understanding, and professionalism. The clientele may include survivors of abuse, combat veterans, and individuals coping with significant loss or chronic stress. Your role will directly influence their recovery journey, supporting their emotional healing and personal growth.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A valid and current licensure as an LMFT, LPCC, or LCSW in the state of California.
\n
• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience, preferably in a mental health setting focused on trauma-informed care.
\n
• In-depth knowledge of trauma-related disorders, trauma-informed treatment methodologies, and resilience-building strategies.
\n
• Demonstrated experience in delivering trauma-focused therapies and interventions.
\n
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, complemented by a compassionate and non-judgmental demeanor.

• Ability to remain calm in high-stress situations and respond effectively to clients in crisis.
\n
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and proficiency in computer applications for documentation and communication.

• A collaborative spirit, thriving within a multidisciplinary team environment.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary range of $90,000 to $110,000 annually, commensurate with experience. Additionally, our comprehensive benefits package includes:
