Work Environment\n

This remote position allows for a flexible work arrangement, enabling you to provide care from the comfort of your own home. Your work schedule is primarily Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility to accommodate patient needs and maximize therapeutic outcomes.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough, trauma-informed assessments to evaluate each patient’s psychological history, trauma experiences, and current mental health status to inform treatment planning.

• Formulate and execute individualized treatment plans targeting trauma recovery, resilience building, and overall mental wellness.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to deliver effective interventions.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, guiding participants through the complex landscape of trauma processing and coping strategy development.

• Work closely with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to provide integrated and holistic care for patients, ensuring a comprehensive approach to treatment.

• Offer crisis intervention and support in trauma-related emergencies, employing immediate and effective strategies to stabilize patients.

• Educate patients and their families on trauma responses, coping mechanisms, and the resources available to them.

• Maintain thorough and accurate documentation of sessions and treatment plans in compliance with legal and ethical standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our primary focus is on individuals who have experienced trauma, including those with complex PTSD, childhood trauma, and dissociative disorders. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Therapist (LPCC, LCSW, LMFT) in the state of Texas.

• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience, preferably in a mental health setting focused on trauma treatment.

• In-depth knowledge of trauma-related disorders and effective trauma-informed treatment modalities.

• Proven experience in administering trauma-focused therapies and interventions.

• Excellent communication skills, characterized by empathy and non-judgment, enabling positive therapeutic relationships.

• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and familiarity with telehealth technology.
