Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough initial assessments and evaluations to accurately determine clients' mental health status, strengths, and needs.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that are reflective of clients' goals, ensuring that therapy is both effective and relevant.
• Provide engaging individual therapy sessions for adult clients, employing evidence-based and solution-focused therapeutic techniques.
• Utilize teletherapy tools to facilitate virtual therapy sessions, maintaining a conducive therapeutic environment online.
• Offer crisis intervention services, effectively addressing urgent needs while ensuring client safety and well-being.
• Participate in regular professional development to enhance your skills and stay informed about the latest advancements in mental health treatment.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our client population varies widely, encompassing adults from diverse backgrounds who face various mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, relationship issues, trauma, and more. As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Reliant, you will have the opportunity to work with clients from different walks of life, addressing their unique needs with empathy and professionalism.

Qualifications

• A valid and current license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
• A master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to build rapport with clients effectively.
• A demonstrated capacity for empathy, compassion, and a non-judgmental therapeutic approach.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills to manage your caseload efficiently.
• No history of disciplinary actions against your license.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in providing therapy via telehealth platforms.
• Familiarity with evidence-based practices tailored to different mental health issues.
• Prior experience in a community health setting is advantageous, though not mandatory.
