This full-time role is based in our state-of-the-art outpatient office, where you will have the unique opportunity to work closely with the geriatric population, specifically individuals aged 65 and older. Work Environment

The work environment is designed to promote a positive and pleasant experience for both staff and patients. Our outpatient office is equipped with modern therapeutic equipment and facilities to cater to our patients' diverse needs. As part of a multidisciplinary team, you will have the support of other healthcare professionals, enabling collaborative approaches to patient care. Your 8-hour shifts, from Monday to Friday, will allow for a balanced work-life schedule while remaining fully present and engaged with your patients.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify each patient's goals, challenges, and needs.
• Design and implement individualized treatment plans aimed at improving mobility and reducing pain.
• Utilize a variety of therapeutic techniques to facilitate recovery and rehabilitation, focusing on functional outcomes.
• Develop and conduct wellness-oriented programs tailored to assist patients in maintaining their physical activities.
• Work collaboratively with a team of health professionals to create integrative care plans that address the holistic needs of patients.
• Educate patients and their families about treatment options, exercises, and lifestyle modifications.
• Document all aspects of patient care services, ensuring clarity and continuity in communication among care providers.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of treatment interventions regularly, making adjustments to plans as needed for optimal results.
• Keep abreast of the latest developments in physical therapy practices through continual education and professional growth.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on the geriatric population, addressing their unique physical therapy needs. This includes working with patients experiencing conditions commonly associated with aging, such as arthritis, fractures, neurological disorders, and post-surgical rehabilitation. You will play a crucial role in helping patients regain independence, improving their strength, flexibility, coordination, and balance to enhance their overall life quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Hold a valid Physical Therapy License in the state of New Jersey.
• Demonstrate effective interpersonal communication skills to establish rapport with patients.
• Exhibit a strong desire to learn and adapt continuously to new treatment practices and methodologies.
• Display professionalism and empathy while managing patients with varying personalities and conditions.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working with the geriatric population is highly desirable.
• Background in geriatrics, orthopedics, or physical rehabilitation medicine will be beneficial.
• Previous experience in an outpatient setting is a plus.
• Knowledge of the latest evidence-based practices in physical therapy.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 85,000 to 95,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition to a generous salary, we provide a comprehensive benefits package including:
