Key Responsibilities

• Conduct patient intakes, performing comprehensive diagnostic and functional evaluations to inform treatment plans.
• Provide brief, focused interventions for patients in need of immediate mental health services, following established clinical guidelines.
• Collaborate with primary care providers to determine the best course of action for each patient, assessing who can benefit from in-clinic support and who requires specialty care.
• Develop and implement relapse prevention plans, monitor patient progress, and adjust treatment approaches as necessary.
• Assist in identifying at-risk patients and create strategic plans to manage their behavioral health needs effectively.
• Document patient interactions and treatment details meticulously in clinical records, ensuring compliance with organizational guidelines.
• Provide educational resources and self-management tools to empower patients to take charge of their treatment journeys.
• Engage in interdisciplinary collaboration and consult with management and team members on program evaluation and improvement strategies.

Qualifications

• A Master’s Degree in Clinical Counseling or a related field is required.
• Current LPCC license in the state of California is essential.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits

Protocall Behavioral Health Services Inc. offers a competitive salary range of $87,000 to $105,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
