Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough, trauma-informed mental health assessments that evaluate patient histories and identify suitable treatment strategies.

• Design and implement individualized treatment plans that emphasize trauma recovery and resilience-building to meet the specific needs of each patient.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) to facilitate patient healing.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions that encourage patients to process their trauma, develop coping strategies, and foster emotional healing.

• Engage in close collaboration with psychiatrists and other mental health professionals, ensuring a holistic and coordinated care approach.
\n
• Provide immediate crisis intervention support for patients during trauma-related emergencies, utilizing de-escalation techniques and stability strategies.
\n
• Educate patients and their families on trauma responses, coping mechanisms, and available support resources, empowering them in their recovery journey.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation that adheres to legal and ethical standards, ensuring compliance and facilitating continuity of care.

• Participate in regular case consultations, team meetings, and workshops focused on trauma-informed care to promote continuous learning and growth.

• Stay informed about the latest research and advancements in trauma therapy to integrate best practices into daily work.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work primarily with individuals dealing with trauma-related conditions, including PTSD, anxiety, and depression. Our patient population often includes survivors of domestic violence, childhood abuse, and adverse childhood experiences, all of whom require a sensitive, competent, and trauma-informed therapeutic approach.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT within the state of Pennsylvania.
\n
• A minimum of 2 years of professional experience in a mental health setting is preferred.
\n
• Strong understanding of trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment modalities.

• Demonstrated proficiency with delivering trauma-focused therapeutic methods and interventions.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, characterized by a compassionate, non-judgmental manner.

• Ability to maintain composure and professionalism in high-stress situations.

• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and relevant computer applications.

Compensation and Benefits\n
