Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough, trauma-informed mental health assessments for new patients, gathering detailed information on their trauma history to inform individualized treatment strategies.

• Create and implement tailored treatment plans focused on recovery and resilience, utilizing best practices that relate specifically to trauma recovery.

• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) to effectively address the needs of each patient.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, fostering an environment where patients can process traumatic experiences and cultivate coping mechanisms that promote healing.

• Collaborate actively with psychiatrists and other professionals to ensure an integrated approach to care, enhancing the therapeutic experience for patients.

• Provide crisis intervention and support during trauma-related emergencies, ensuring immediate assistance is available to those in need.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid state licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT.

• A strong knowledge base in trauma-related disorders, alongside familiarity with trauma-informed treatment modalities and resilience-building strategies.
