Work Environment\n

This position is fully remote, allowing you to connect with clients through our advanced telehealth platform. You will be part of a collaborative and multidisciplinary team that values each member's contributions and well-being. The flexible work schedule is primarily Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some adjustments based on client needs, ensuring that you can maintain a work-life balance while delivering quality care.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct in-depth, trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate clients' trauma histories and identify suitable treatment strategies, including addressing mental health co-morbidities.

• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans that focus on trauma recovery, resilience-building, and the overall mental well-being of each client.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) during individual and group therapy sessions.

• Foster therapeutic relationships with clients to help them process their trauma, identify coping mechanisms, and facilitate healing.

• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists and other mental health professionals to deliver integrated, holistic care to our clients.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention and support during trauma-related emergencies, ensuring clients receive timely and appropriate care.

• Educate clients and their families about trauma responses, effective coping strategies, and the resources available for continued support.

• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation in compliance with ethical and legal standards, using electronic health record (EHR) systems.

• Engage in frequent case consultations, team meetings, and continuous professional development focusing on trauma-informed care practices.

• Stay current with the latest advancements in trauma therapy through ongoing research and professional development opportunities.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on trauma survivors experiencing significant emotional distress, including those with PTSD, complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. By creating trusting relationships, you will empower clients to confront their challenges and facilitate healing through tailored therapeutic approaches.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Valid licensure as an LCMFT, LMFT, LCPC, or LCSW-C in the state of Maryland.

• At least 2 years of post-licensure experience providing trauma-focused therapy.
\n
• Comprehensive knowledge of trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment modalities.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, showcasing a compassionate and non-judgmental approach to client interactions.

• Capability to remain calm and effective under pressure, ensuring clients feel supported in stressful situations.

• Proficiency in utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems and various computer applications essential for telehealth service delivery.

• Ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team environment.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 90,000 to 110,000 per year.
