Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough and culturally-informed mental health assessments to develop tailored treatment plans for each patient, focusing on their unique circumstances and cultural backgrounds.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and other modalities suited to individual patient needs.

• Provide engaging individual, family, and group therapy sessions, guiding clients through their mental health journeys while promoting resilience and holistic well-being.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other allied health professionals to coordinate care and ensure that all aspects of a patient’s mental health are considered.

• Offer timely crisis intervention and support to clients during mental health emergencies, employing strong crisis management skills.

• Educate clients and their families on mental health diagnoses, treatment options, and available community resources.
\n
• Maintain accurate, timely, and confidential patient records in accordance with legal and ethical standards.

• Participate actively in case conferences, team meetings, and ongoing training sessions focused on cultural competency and best practices in mental health care.

• Stay abreast of the latest research and developments in therapeutic interventions and cultural considerations relevant to mental health.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work (LCSW), Counseling (LPC), Marriage and Family Therapy (LMFT), or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A strong understanding of mental health diagnoses and treatments, with an emphasis on cultural competence in therapy.
