Work Environment\n

This position allows you to operate remotely, providing you with the advantage of working from a location that suits you best while still being an integral part of our collaborative psychiatric team. Although primary work hours are Monday through Friday from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, there may be opportunities for evening and weekend hours on a rotating basis. This flexibility supports our commitment to meeting our patients' needs at convenient times.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate the severity, frequency, and duration of symptoms related to mood disorders in clients, ensuring a thorough understanding of their mental health status.

• Partner with clients to design individualized treatment plans that align with their specific challenges, goals, and personal preferences, implementing a collaborative approach to care.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to deliver effective interventions for mood disorders.

• Educate clients and their families on mood disorders, available treatment options, and self-care strategies, fostering a supportive environment for recovery.

• Monitor client progress throughout the therapeutic process, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to optimize outcomes and ensure clients are moving towards their health goals.

• Engage in regular collaboration with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to facilitate integrated care that addresses both psychological and medical needs.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work primarily with clients experiencing a range of mood disorders, including but not limited to depression, bipolar disorder, and generalized anxiety disorder. Your ability to understand the nuances of these conditions will be essential in delivering empathetic and effective care that addresses the unique experiences of each individual. Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Texas.

• Strong foundation in evidence-based treatment modalities for mood disorders, including CBT and DBT.

• Excellent communication skills, with the capacity to build rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience specializing in mood disorders is preferred.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The annual salary for this role ranges from $80,000 to $100,000, dependent on experience and qualifications. In addition to competitive salaries, we offer a sign-on bonus for qualified candidates.
