Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments to accurately understand clients’ mental health needs and challenges.
• Develop, implement, and monitor personalized treatment plans tailored to the individual goals of each client.
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic practices to empower clients, equipping them with effective coping strategies and tools for long-term well-being.
• Document client progress diligently, adjusting treatment approaches as necessary based on their evolving needs.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure a comprehensive approach to client care, including regular case consultations.
• Maintain confidentiality and comply with legal and ethical guidelines in all client interactions.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will provide support to individuals from varying backgrounds, incorporating culturally responsive approaches to ensure that care is effective and relevant. This role is instrumental in breaking down barriers to mental health access, allowing us to reach clients who might otherwise hesitate to seek support.

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Active California state license as an LMFT, LCSW, or LPCC.
• Minimum of two years of clinical experience in mental health counseling, particularly in a therapeutic setting.
• Proficiency in employing culturally informed, evidence-based therapeutic modalities.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working with telehealth systems and platforms to deliver therapy effectively.
• Familiarity with specific therapeutic techniques suitable for treating anxiety, depression, and substance use disorders.
• Background in crisis intervention and emergency assessment.

Compensation and Benefits
