Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive initial consultations, documenting detailed case histories from the first meeting through to the conclusion of care.

• Evaluate the emotional, behavioral, and mental health status of clients, utilizing diagnostic tools and assessment protocols.

• Create personalized recovery and intervention plans for individuals, couples, families, and groups, tailoring approaches based on assessed needs.
\n
• Facilitate engaging individual and group therapy sessions, employing evidence-based practices to enhance therapeutic outcomes.
\n
• Track and monitor client progress throughout treatment, using analytics to adjust strategies and foster improvement.
\n
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of mental health specialists, including doctors, nurses, and social workers, to coordinate comprehensive care.

• Follow up with patients post-hospitalization while communicating with psychiatrists and primary care physicians to ensure continuity of care.

• Proactively identify and mitigate factors that hinder recovery, providing clients with tools to overcome these obstacles.

• Support family members and primary caregivers in managing mental health challenges effectively.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your clients will encompass a diverse population with varying mental health needs, including anxiety disorders, depression, trauma-related conditions, and relationship struggles. The role demands a deep understanding of the complexities within mental health, coupled with a genuine desire to help individuals and families navigate their unique challenges towards achieving better mental well-being.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Possession of current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LCPC, or LCSW in the state of Nevada.

• A passing score on the National Counselor Examination (NCE) or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE) is mandatory.

• Demonstrated experience as a mental health counselor, showcasing your adeptness at providing compassionate care and support.

• Comfortable navigating electronic health record systems, with proficiency in AVATAR or similar platforms to manage client documentation effectively.

• Strong understanding of overlapping physical and emotional health conditions, including addiction disorders.

• Active familiarity with the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA) standards and best practices.

• In-depth knowledge about the implications of psychotropic medications as prescribed by medical professionals.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a strong capacity for building rapport with clients.

• Strong interpersonal skills, characterized by empathy, patience, and the ability to connect with clients from diverse backgrounds.

Preferred Experience\n

• Prior experience working with adolescents and children, along with demonstrated capabilities in group therapy settings, is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary range of $80,000 to $100,000 annually, complemented by a sign-on bonus!
