Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to identify client needs and develop personalized treatment plans tailored to each individual.

• Provide therapeutic sessions up to bi-weekly, utilizing evidence-based practices to support clients in their healing journey.

• Assess and address safety concerns dynamically, ensuring the well-being of clients while offering crisis intervention services as necessary.

• Maintain consistency in client scheduling and follow-ups to foster a therapeutic relationship, encouraging retention and progress.

• Collaborate closely with fellow counselors for consultations and referrals, sharing insights and resources for comprehensive client care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Mental Health Counselor with Rising Phoenix Counseling Services, you will primarily work with adults, children, adolescents, couples, and families navigating various trauma-related challenges. Your expertise will be pivotal in helping clients who have experienced different levels of trauma through specialized approaches such as EMDR and Internal Family Systems (IFS). We serve a diverse client base within a rural setting, adapting our services to meet the unique needs of the populations we assist.

Qualifications\n

• A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field is required.

• Licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in Oregon is preferred.
