Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to identify the unique needs of children and adolescents, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of their circumstances.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that consider developmental aspects and familial dynamics, incorporating evidence-based practices.

• Utilize therapeutic modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy, play therapy, and family therapy to address mental health issues effectively.

• Facilitate family therapy sessions that empower parents and caregivers to support their children’s emotional and psychological development.

• Collaborate with child psychiatrists to create a comprehensive care approach that includes regular case consultations and treatment evaluations.

• Provide crisis intervention services to support patients during critical mental health emergencies, ensuring a safe environment for intervention.

• Educate young clients and families about mental health disorders, treatment modalities, and community resources available to them.

• Maintain accurate and confidential electronic health records (EHR), in line with legal standards and ethical practices.

• Engage in regular professional development activities and continue to stay abreast of the latest research within child and adolescent mental health.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role is centered around providing care to children and adolescents, from early childhood through late adolescence, addressing a variety of mental health challenges. You will work closely with young patients, fostering a trusting and supportive relationship that encourages honest communication and engagement in their treatment journey.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Georgia.
\n
• Solid understanding of child and adolescent mental health issues, therapeutic methodologies, and evidence-based practices.
\n
• Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to connect empathetically with children and their families.
\n
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, enhancing patient care and outcomes.

• Competence in using electronic health record systems and other digital applications relevant to mental health care.

Preferred Experience\n

• Minimum of 2 years of post-graduate clinical experience working with children and adolescents in a mental health setting.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this role ranges from USD 80,000 to 110,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
