Key Responsibilities\n

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), in both individual and group therapy settings.

• Facilitate therapeutic sessions that encourage patients in processing their trauma and developing effective coping mechanisms.

• Work collaboratively with psychiatrists and other mental health professionals to ensure integrated and cohesive care for all patients.

• Provide crisis intervention for patients experiencing trauma-related emergencies, ensuring immediate support and safety.

• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses and available coping resources, facilitating healing and understanding.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role focuses primarily on individuals who have experienced significant trauma, including survivors of abuse, neglect, and other adverse life events. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

Preferred Experience\n
