Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct in-depth, trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate clients' trauma history and determine appropriate therapeutic interventions.

• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans tailored to individual client needs, emphasizing trauma recovery and resilience-building techniques.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to aid clients in their recovery journeys.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, allowing clients to process their experiences, develop effective coping strategies, and promote healing.

• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure a cohesive and comprehensive approach to patient care.

• Provide crisis intervention and support for clients during traumatic emergencies, ensuring a calm and supportive response.

• Educate clients and their families on trauma responses, coping mechanisms, and available support resources.

• Maintain accurate and confidential client documentation in compliance with all legal and ethical standards.

• Participate in ongoing case consultations, team meetings, and professional development activities focused on trauma-informed practices.

• Stay current with the latest evidence-based practices and research in trauma therapy to continually enhance your therapeutic techniques.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The primary focus of your work will be individuals experiencing trauma-related mental health challenges. This role will involve working with diverse client demographics, including children, adolescents, and adults, who may present varying degrees of distress. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution is required.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Texas.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary range for this position is competitive, between USD 70,000 – 110,000 annually, commensurate with experience. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
