Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough, trauma-informed assessments to understand each patient's unique background and experiences with trauma, ensuring that treatment plans are tailored to their specific needs.
• Design and implement individualized treatment plans that prioritize trauma recovery, incorporating methodologies such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).
• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, providing a safe space for patients to explore their trauma, develop coping mechanisms, and promote pathways to healing.
• Actively collaborate with psychiatrists, physicians, and multi-disciplinary team members to ensure holistic care and appropriate resource allocation for your patients.
• Deliver crisis intervention strategies and emotional support during trauma-related emergencies, ensuring patients feel heard and validated during critical moments.
• Educate patients and their families on trauma responses, available resources, and effective coping strategies to facilitate informed understanding and support.
• Maintain comprehensive and confidential documentation to adhere to ethical and legal standards in mental health practice.
• Participate in case consultations and continuous professional development opportunities, staying current with the latest research and advancements in trauma-informed care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The patients served by Embrace Life Behavioral Health Center predominantly include individuals affected by traumatic experiences, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. Our approach emphasizes understanding the profound impact of trauma and fostering resilience to support our clients' unique recovery paths. Qualifications

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Texas.
• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience working in mental health, with a focus on trauma-related disorders.
• Strong understanding of trauma-informed treatment modalities and resilience-building techniques.
• Ability to provide trauma-focused therapies, demonstrating effective therapeutic interventions.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a genuine compassionate approach to patient care.
• Proficient in utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems and relevant computer applications to enhance patient engagement and documentation.
• A collaborative spirit with a willingness to contribute to team dynamics and multidisciplinary efforts.

Preferred Experience

While 2 years of relevant experience is required, candidates with additional experience in trauma therapy or specialized certifications in trauma-focused modalities will be given preference. Practical experience in remote therapy settings is also valued, as it demonstrates adaptability and proficiency in maintaining therapeutic relationships through virtual platforms.

Compensation and Benefits

We are pleased to offer a competitive salary range of USD 90,000 to 110,000 per year, commensurate with your experience and qualifications. Additional benefits include:
