Key Responsibilities\n

As a Mental Health Therapist at Nexus Mental Healthcare, you will:

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed assessments to evaluate patients’ trauma history, psychological needs, and overall mental health.

• Design and implement personalized treatment plans centered on trauma recovery using evidence-based practices, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions that empower patients to process past traumas, build coping strategies, and achieve emotional healing.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and multidisciplinary team members to coordinate comprehensive care tailored to each patient's needs.

• Offer crisis intervention and support to patients experiencing trauma-related emergencies.

Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Texas.
