Work Environment

The Physical Therapist will participate in an onsite setting within our state-of-the-art rehabilitation center. This role offers a structured work schedule from Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM, fostering a good work-life balance. The clinic features a modern design with expansive rehabilitation areas equipped for various therapeutic modalities, ensuring that therapists have the tools needed to provide the highest quality of care.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical conditions, identifying their unique goals and therapy requirements.
• Manage a manageable patient caseload of 1 individual per hour, ensuring each patient receives personalized attention and care.
• Develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans tailored to meet the individual needs of each patient.
• Utilize manual therapy techniques and other therapeutic modalities to improve mobility and alleviate pain.
• Educate patients on the importance of physical activity, healthy lifestyle choices, and avoidance of unnecessary surgical procedures.
• Monitor and evaluate patient progress using evidence-based metrics, making adjustments to treatment plans as necessary.
• Document patient interactions and treatment plans accurately using EMR software, specifically WebPT, ensuring compliance with healthcare standards.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians and occupational therapists, to develop holistic care strategies.
• Encourage patients throughout their treatment process, motivating them to commit to their rehabilitation plans.
• Maintain a strong emphasis on patient education, fostering understanding of their conditions and the therapeutic process.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The patient population at Pro Elite Physical Therapy Clinic primarily consists of individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic musculoskeletal conditions. You will work closely with adult patients, guiding them through rehabilitation processes that include enhancing strength, flexibility, coordination, and overall physical function.

Qualifications

• A Master's or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• Valid state licensure as a Physical Therapist, with no history of disciplinary actions.
• Strong proficiency in manual therapy techniques, demonstrating clinical competency.
• Extensive knowledge in developing and executing tailored exercise and rehabilitation protocols.
• Experience with electronic medical records software, particularly WebPT, is preferred.

Preferred Experience

• Previous work experience as a physical therapist in an orthopedic outpatient setting.
• Familiarity with innovative treatment modalities and rehabilitation techniques that improve patient outcomes.
• Ability to engage effectively with patients across all age groups.

Compensation and Benefits
