Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough, trauma-informed mental health assessments to understand each patient’s trauma history and determine effective treatment approaches.

• Design and implement customized treatment plans aimed at trauma recovery, ensuring that therapeutic interventions cater specifically to the individual needs of each patient.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic methodologies, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to deliver high-impact therapy sessions.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, where patients can collaboratively work through their trauma, enhance their coping skills, and support one another in their healing journeys.

• Work in partnership with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to provide integrated care, ensuring comprehensive support for each patient.

• Engage in crisis intervention during trauma-related emergencies, providing timely support and strategies to manage acute distress.

• Educate patients and their families about the effects of trauma, available coping strategies, and other community resources that support overall well-being.

• Maintain up-to-date, accurate, and confidential documentation in adherence with legal and ethical standards, using proficient electronic health record (EHR) systems.

• Participate in case consultations and team meetings, contributing to ongoing discussions around best practices in trauma-informed care.

• Stay informed on the latest research and treatment practices related to trauma therapy to continuously enhance effectiveness and patient outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with individuals who have experienced various forms of trauma, including but not limited to emotional, physical, and psychological trauma. This includes clients dealing with PTSD, complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. Your role will be pivotal in guiding these clients toward recovery and resilience through knowledge, empathy, and structured interventions.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Current, valid licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Texas.

• At least 2 years of post-licensure clinical experience, preferably in a trauma-focused setting.

• Expertise in trauma-related disorders, with a solid grounding in trauma-informed care and best practices.

• Proficiency in therapeutic approaches specifically aimed at trauma recovery and resilience-building.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, characterized by a compassionate and non-judgmental demeanor.

• Ability to maintain composure and effectiveness in high-stress situations.

• Tech-savvy with proficiency in EHR systems and standard computer applications.

• Strong collaborative spirit to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 80,000 to 104,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
