Work Environment\n

The work environment at Conscious Therapy is designed to promote flexible engagement. As a Telehealth Counselor, you will be able to work within varied hours from 7 am to 10 pm, seven days a week, ensuring that you can accommodate clients' schedules while maintaining your work-life balance. Our supportive infrastructure offers a processing system backed by administrative support for scheduling and client service, allowing you to focus your time and energy on providing exceptional care.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive, trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate each patient’s trauma history and emotional needs.

• Develop and implement tailored treatment plans aimed at trauma recovery and resilience building.
\n
• Employ evidence-based therapeutic interventions including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions aimed at helping patients process their trauma and develop effective coping strategies.
\n
• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists and other mental health professionals to deliver integrated, comprehensive care for patients.
\n
• Provide timely crisis intervention and support in trauma-related emergencies.
\n
• Educate patients and their families on trauma responses, coping mechanisms, and available community resources.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation that adheres to legal and ethical standards.

• Engage in active participation in case consultations, team meetings, and professional development opportunities focusing on trauma-informed care practices.

• Stay abreast of the latest research and best practices in trauma therapy to enhance service delivery.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid License as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Texas.

• Exceptional interpersonal skills paired with compassionate communication approaches.

• The ability to remain calm and composed in high-stress situations, showcasing strong problem-solving skills.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience in a clinical setting is strongly preferred.

• Demonstrated knowledge and experience in implementing trauma-focused therapies and evidence-based intervention strategies.

• Familiarity with delivering therapy to couples and a willingness to receive additional training in this area.

• Self-motivation to uphold productivity standards, including the timely completion of documentation within 24 hours.

Compensation and Benefits\n
