Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate clients' histories and tailor individualized treatment plans accordingly.

• Implement evidence-based interventions such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) during individual and group therapy sessions.

• Deliver patient-centered support that emphasizes coping strategies and resilience-building, guiding clients through their healing processes.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated care, maintaining a holistic approach towards mental health.

• Offer crisis intervention services during trauma-related emergencies, equipping clients with immediate support and resources.

• Educate clients and their families on trauma responses, coping mechanisms, and community resources, fostering a supportive environment.

• Utilize an EHR system to maintain accurate, confidential documentation compliant with legal and ethical standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be individuals who are overcoming challenges stemming from various forms of trauma. This includes survivors of abuse, those dealing with loss, and individuals facing mental health conditions related to distressing experiences. Your role is pivotal in helping clients regain control over their lives, develop healthy coping mechanisms, and rebuild their sense of self.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in the state of California.

• Strong knowledge base in trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment modalities.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, displaying a compassionate and non-judgmental approach to therapy.

• Proficiency in computer applications and EHR systems.

Preferred Experience\n

We prefer candidates with at least two years of post-licensure experience in mental health counseling. Experience delivering trauma-focused therapies is highly advantageous and will be a key factor in your success within this role. Compensation and Benefits\n
