Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed assessments to evaluate patients' history, symptoms, and treatment needs, using structured interviews and validated tools.

• Design and implement individualized treatment plans that focus on trauma recovery, incorporating evidence-based therapies such as EMDR and TF-CBT.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions aimed at helping patients process their trauma and develop healthy coping mechanisms.

• Work closely with an interdisciplinary team including psychiatrists, social workers, and other therapists to coordinate comprehensive patient care.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention and support for individuals experiencing trauma-related emergencies.

• Educate patients and their families about the effects of trauma, coping strategies, and local resources available for additional support.

• Maintain accurate, thorough, and confidential documentation in accordance with legal guidelines and ethical standards.

• Engage in continuous professional development through case consultations, team meetings, and staying informed about the latest research in trauma and mental health practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will primarily focus on individuals affected by trauma, including survivors of abuse, neglect, and significant life events. Many of our patients are dealing with the complexities of PTSD and similar disorders, requiring a nuanced understanding and a compassionate approach to therapy.

Qualifications\n

• A master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Tennessee.

Preferred Experience\n

• At least two years of post-licensure experience in a clinical setting, particularly focused on trauma-related mental health issues.

Compensation and Benefits\n
