Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate patients' trauma histories and determine effective treatment strategies.

• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans that prioritize trauma recovery and foster resilience.
\n
• Administer evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), tailored to meet the specific needs of patients.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions that help patients process their trauma experiences, develop coping skills, and promote overall healing.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention and support during trauma-related emergencies, ensuring patients receive necessary care during critical moments.

• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses, coping mechanisms, and available community resources for additional support.

• Maintain precise and confidential documentation of patient interactions, assessments, and treatment plans in accordance with legal and ethical standards.

• Actively participate in case consultations, team meetings, and professional development initiatives to enhance trauma-informed care practices.

• Stay informed on the latest research and advancements in trauma therapy to continually improve treatment outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will primarily involve interacting with a diverse range of clients, including individuals of different age groups who have experienced various forms of trauma. By employing trauma-informed care principles, you will create a safe space for patients, empowering them to share their experiences and work towards healing.

Qualifications\n

• Possession of a Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as an LMFT, LMHC, LCSW, or LCSW-R in the state of New York.
\n
• A strong foundation in trauma-informed treatment modalities and resilience-building techniques.
\n
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, coupled with a compassionate and non-judgmental approach to therapy.

• Strong ability to manage stress while maintaining professionalism in high-pressure situations.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience, ideally in trauma-focused therapy settings.

Compensation and Benefits\n
