Key Responsibilities\n

As a Mental Health Therapist at the Premise Therapy Center, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive trauma-informed assessments to evaluate patients’ trauma histories and establish appropriate therapeutic interventions.

• Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient’s unique recovery goals, emphasizing resilience and coping strategies.

• Utilizing evidence-based therapeutic modalities like Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) in individual and group therapy sessions.

• Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists and psychologists, to ensure that each patient receives integrated and holistic care.

• Providing crisis intervention support during trauma-related emergencies to ensure patient safety and well-being.

• Educating patients and their families on trauma responses, coping mechanisms, and available community resources that can aid in recovery.

• Maintaining accurate and relevant documentation in accordance with legal and ethical standards, ensuring confidentiality and integrity of patient records.

Qualifications\n

The successful candidate for the Mental Health Therapist position must possess:

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in the state of California.
\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
