This full-time position allows you to provide vital mental health care to individuals coping with trauma, working from a remote or outpatient setting in Westminster, Colorado. Our therapists operate primarily from a remote setting, promoting flexible work-life integration while still maintaining a connection to our community through our outpatient office. The role involves a structured work schedule from Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM; however, some scheduling flexibility may be required based on the individual needs of our patients. You'll find yourself part of a collaborative and multidisciplinary team dedicated to trauma-informed care.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed assessments to evaluate each patient's trauma history and determine appropriate treatment paths.

• Design and implement individualized treatment plans that focus on trauma recovery and resilience-building, adapting strategies as necessary based on patient feedback and progress.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to guide therapeutic interventions.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, assisting patients in processing their trauma experiences and developing coping strategies tailored to their needs.

• Engage in close collaboration with psychiatrists and other clinical professionals to ensure integrated care for every patient.

• Provide crisis intervention support during trauma-related emergencies, helping patients navigate acute emotional distress.

• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses, coping mechanisms, and available community resources.

• Maintain detailed and confidential documentation in accordance with legal and ethical guidelines to ensure optimal patient care.

• Participate actively in case consultations and team meetings, contributing to discussions focused on enhancing trauma-informed care practices.

The primary clientele you will serve includes individuals over the age of 18 who have experienced various forms of trauma. Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Colorado.

• Strong foundational knowledge of trauma-related disorders, treatment modalities, and approaches focused on building resilience.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a focus on a compassionate and non-judgmental therapeutic approach.

• Adeptness in utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems and other relevant computer applications for effective documentation and scheduling.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience in a clinical mental health setting, with a preferred focus on trauma-informed care.

Compensation and Benefits\n
