Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed mental health assessments to identify patients' needs and create suitable treatment paths.

• Utilize specific therapeutic modalities such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) during individual and group therapy sessions.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and multidisciplinary team members to ensure an integrated approach to patient care.

• Respond to crisis situations with immediate support and intervention for patients experiencing acute trauma-related distress.

• Educate patients and families about trauma responses, effective coping strategies, and community resources.

• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation of sessions in compliance with state and federal regulations.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a therapist at Bayview, you will work with a diverse clientele who have experienced varying degrees of trauma. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPCC, or LCSW in the state of California.

Compensation and Benefits\n
