Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate patients' trauma history and create personalized treatment plans that align with their recovery goals.

• Employ evidence-based therapeutic modalities, such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to facilitate effective therapy sessions.

• Provide individual and group therapy to assist clients in processing trauma experiences, developing coping strategies, and enhancing their emotional resilience.

• Work collaboratively with psychiatrists and multidisciplinary professionals to ensure an integrated approach to patient care.

• Offer crisis intervention and support during emergencies related to trauma to ensure patient safety and well-being.

• Maintain precise and confidential documentation in accordance with legal regulations and organizational policies.

• Engage in continuous professional development and training focused on trauma-informed care methodologies.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Qualifications\n

• A Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A valid and active state license as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, demonstrating empathy and a non-judgmental stance during therapy sessions.

• Proficiency in utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems and relevant digital tools for documentation and patient management.

• A calm demeanour in high-pressure situations to effectively assist clients in crisis.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience in a clinical setting, preferably focusing on trauma and resilience-building.

Compensation and Benefits\n
